Evenbell. Last updated 2 September 2026.
The short version. Evenbell is a guided meditation app. Some of it is free and the rest is a subscription bought through Google Play, where you also manage and cancel it. The recordings are ours and are for your own listening rather than for republishing.
It is not medical treatment and it is not advice. The astrology is there to give the practices a shape and a rhythm — it does not predict anything, and nothing in Evenbell should be used to make a medical, financial or legal decision. The voice you hear is AI-generated, from recordings of a real person who consented to it.
Evenbell is made and operated by Citadel of the Mind Software LLC, a limited liability company registered in California, United States. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person using the app.
By installing or using Evenbell you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use Evenbell only with the permission of a parent or guardian, and only they may buy a subscription.
Evenbell includes a number of complete practices at no cost, along with the chart, the browsing and everything else the app does. They are not previews or samples, and they do not expire.
The rest of the library requires a subscription. Paid practices are downloaded to your device rather than streamed, so once a practice is on your phone it plays with no connection at all. Downloading a new one requires a connection and an active subscription.
We add practices over time and we may occasionally remove or replace one. We do not guarantee that any particular practice will remain available, and a practice already downloaded to your device is not deleted when it is withdrawn from the library.
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Google Play, not by us. The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy, and Google shows them again at the point of purchase.
A recurring subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. Google charges the payment method on your Play account at the start of each period. To stop it, cancel in Google Play — cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date, or that renewal will be taken. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the period you are in, and you keep access until that period ends.
A one-off lifetime purchase does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.
Deleting your Evenbell account does not cancel your subscription, because your subscription lives in Google Play rather than with us. Cancel it there.
Because Google Play takes the payment, refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy, and we are not able to issue one directly. If something has gone wrong, write to us anyway — we would rather know, and we can sometimes help with Google on your behalf.
Nothing here removes any refund or cancellation right you have under the law where you live.
Evenbell offers guided meditation for rest, attention and reflection. It is not a medical device, not a treatment, and not therapy. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing in the app or on this website should be read as a claim that it does.
It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are dealing with a medical or mental health condition, or you are in distress, please speak to a doctor or a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.
Some practices guide your breathing. If you feel lightheaded, dizzy, faint or uncomfortable at any point, stop and let your breath return to normal. Do not listen to a practice while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or doing anything else that needs your attention. Several practices are designed to help you fall asleep.
Evenbell can use your birth details to work out an astrological chart and use it to choose and frame practices. This is offered for reflection and structure, and as entertainment — not as prediction. It does not foretell events and it makes no claim to be scientifically established.
Do not use anything Evenbell tells you to make a medical, financial, legal, professional or relationship decision.
Evenbell works completely without any of it. You can skip the birth details entirely, or switch the astrology off, and the whole library remains available to you.
The voice guiding the practices is a synthetic voice, generated by an AI model from recordings of a real person — the person who makes Evenbell — who recorded them for that purpose and consented to their use. It is his voice, reproduced so that a library this size can keep growing.
The scripts are written by a person. The ambient music beds are AI-generated and licensed for this use.
Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to listen to the practices for your own private use, on devices you control, for as long as your subscription lasts.
You may not:
Everything in Evenbell — the recordings, the scripts, the voice, the artwork, the name and the software — remains ours or our licensors'. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it to you.
We try to keep Evenbell working, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. Downloading needs a working connection and depends on services we do not control, including Google Play and our hosting provider. Practices already on your device are not affected by any of that.
We may change, suspend or discontinue Evenbell. If we discontinue it entirely, we will say so in advance where we reasonably can.
Evenbell is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about it and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Evenbell in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some places do not allow certain exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
You can stop using Evenbell at any time by uninstalling it, and cancel any subscription in Google Play. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms in a way that harms us or other people — in practice, redistributing the recordings.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and where a change matters we will say so in the app rather than relying on you to re-read this page. Continuing to use Evenbell after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and the courts of California will have jurisdiction. If you live somewhere with consumer protection laws that give you rights you cannot sign away, you keep those rights and you may bring a claim in your own local courts.
